Feast of fools

It was hard to imagine how Clarie's day could get any worse...
And then the vampire holding her hostage asked for breakfast.
In the town of Morganville, vampires and humans have learnt to live together in relative peace. Still Claire Danvers knows that after dark, her homework can take a back seat to staying alive. But this tenuous harmony is turned on its head with the arrival of Mr Bishop.
Bad to the bone, the ancient old-school vampire cares nothing about keeping the peace; staying at the top of the food chain is enough. What he wants from the town's living and dead is unthinkably sinister. It's only at a formal ball attended by vampires and their human dates that Clarie realises that Bishop's plan - and the elaborate evil trap he's set for the warm blooded souls of Morganville...

I officially love this series!!! From the first line you are instantly hooked into the book and it doesn't let you go until you have done or are forced to put it down. My mother literally had to claw it out of my hands so I would eat. Some people may say that that is so sad but hey thats my life! Bishop was a welcome evil addition to the series you could imagine him taking over the world and people would be to scared to do anything. Oliver and Amelie put aside there differences to get rid of Amelie's dad, Bishop, and stop him from hurting anyone else. Shane and Clarie's relationship grows drastically in this book but i don't know if there relationship can weather many more storms. My only negative thing about it was there wasn't enough Myrnin, he is by far my favorite charecter. Myrnin and Amelie are by far my two favorite charecters call we weird all you want but i really respect them both and they both have there quirky sides. So all in all an amazing book series great author and once again a cliff hanger and a half of an ending. Rachel Caine is officially trying to kill me with suspense!
